The Celtics won’t have to wait long to see what Al Horford looks like with his new team. The former Celtics big man and the 76ers will host Boston to start the 2019-20 season on October 23.

In their home opener, the Celtics will host the 2019 NBA Finals champion Toronto Raptors on October 25. The Celtics get their first look at Marcus Morris in a Knicks uniform the next day in New York. That game is one of the Celtics’ 12 back-to-backs all season. The most they have in one month is three (both in January and March).

Morris returns to Boston on November 1. Kyrie Irving’s first visit to the Garden in 2019-20 comes on November 27 and Horford’s is on December 12. Terry Rozier and the Hornets are in town to start the preseason on October 6 and will be back in Boston on December 22. Aron Baynes and the Suns come to town on January 18.

Kemba Walker makes his return to Charlotte on November 7.

The C’s first host their opponent in the 2019 Eastern Conference Semifinals, the Milwaukee Bucks, on October 30 and are visited by new-look Lakers and Warriors on January 20 and 30, respectively.

In February, the Celtics welcome Kawhi Leonard, Paul George and the Western Conference favorite Clippers (2/13) to Boston, as well as James Harden and Russell Westbrook’s Rockets (2/29).

Victor Oladipo’s Pacers don’t make their trip to Boston until April 8.

The Celtics’ Christmas Day game against the Raptors is at noon.
