Jaylen Brown refutes presentation of latest remarks about Kyrie Irving

Jaylen Brown recently spoke about the Celtics’ drama throughout 2018-19, specifically Kyrie Irving’s role in the matter. In a conversation with Brandon Robinson of Heavy.com, Brown took the blame off of Irving.

Though, on Wednesday, Brown expressed to Gary Washburn of the Boston Globe that his comments were misrepresented.

“I think it was a misquote, for sure, but to be honest I’m tired of talking about it and tired of being asked about it,” Brown said. “It definitely, I would say, was a misquote. It didn’t come off the way I said it, the way it was written with a narrative where (the writer) already wrote the story the way he wanted to write the story but it definitely wasn’t intended in that manner. But I’m tired of being asked about it to be honest.”
