Hayward has been able to maintain some part of his routine because his shooting hand is healthy. However, that doesn’t mean he’s expected to return sooner than the original six-week approximation.

“He’s great,” Brad Stevens said on Sunday. “Healing well. Still got some swelling where the incision was, but that’s to be expected. He’s doing a really good job. Seems like he’s on pace.”
