After a two-game layoff due to a sprained right thumb, Jaylen Brown is expected to be back on the floor for Monday’s game against the Lakers.

Listen to your team news NOW.

“Jaylen, I think, is going to go,” Brad Stevens said. “He went through shootaround.”

Brown wore a glove on his right hand after he initially injured his thumb against the Pistons on Wednesday and had it on again prior to Saturday’s game, which he missed. Instead of the glove, he had tape around his thumb at Monday’s shootaround.

Additionally, Kemba Walker said he expects to play on Monday. He missed Saturday’s game due to left knee soreness.

Carsen Edwards is also back with the Celtics after his assignment with the Red Claws. However, he will not be active — but is expected to be after Monday's game.

On the Lakers’ side, Anthony Davis will be active for the first time since January 7. He’s been out with a gluteus maximus contusion.
