On Monday, Tobias Harris and Bradley Beal became the most recent players to withdraw from the Team USA training camp, following Anthony Davis, James Harden, CJ McCollum, and Eric Gordon’s lead.

Among those players who still plan to attend the camp on August 5 in preparation for the 18th FIBA World Cup are Jayson Tatum and Kemba Walker. Though, they may not be the only two Celtics who dawn the red, white and blue in the international competition.

According to Joe Vardon of The Athletic, Marcus Smart and Jaylen Brown are among those on the short list of reserves. D’Angelo Russell and Aaron Gordon are being considered, as well. Mike Conley, Josh Richardson, Thaddeus Young, and Julius Randle were also among the possible reserves, but have already said no.

Brown, Smart, Russell or Gordon may receive invites fairly soon since Damian Lillard and Kevin Love are also expected to decide about their participation this week, both having been unsure about their plans up to this point.
