After Wednesday’s loss to the Pistons, Jaylen Brown got his right thumb wrapped up before addressing the media. He suffered the injury when he ran into Markieff Morris during the game.

Brown didn’t think it was much of an issue, but planned to get it looked at again on Thursday before the Celtics played the Bucks. He called it a sprain on Wednesday, which is what the Celtics believe it to be, as well. However, Brad Stevens told reporters in Milwaukee that Brown will undergo further testing on Friday.

In the meantime, the Celtics decided to sideline Brown for Thursday’s game.

The Celtics do, however, have Jayson Tatum back. He missed Wednesday’s game with right knee soreness.
