Josh Gordon’s 2018 season came to an abrupt end in late December when he announced he was stepping away from football; which was quickly followed by an indefinite suspension from the NFL. Gordon can apply for reinstatement in May, but it’s unclear how the league will rule on the matter. Roger Goodell made it clear at the NFL owners meetings the league's focus is to get Gordon’s “life on the right track.”

If Gordon is allowed to play in 2019, it will be for the New England Patriots. ESPN’s Field Yates reported on Tuesday the wide receiver signed his restricted free agent tender.

Gordon deal is a one-year contract worth $2.025 million.

Over his 11 games with the Patriots in 2018, Gordon caught 40 of his 68 targets for 720 yards (18 yards per reception). Three of those receptions were touchdown catches.
