Although the circumstances aren’t ideal, the NBA’s hiatus has given players a chance to recharge. For those who’d been dealing with an injury, like Kemba Walker (left knee), this break seemed like a good opportunity to get back to full strength.

“The knee is doing well,” Walker said on NBC Sports Boston Wednesday prior to the rebroadcast of the Celtics’ win over the Bucks back in October.

However, this break has not been as much help as some may have initially expected. A big part of the problem is players aren’t able to go to team facilities.

“It’s difficult because I don’t have anyone around to get me some treatment or anything like that,” Walker said. “So, I have to do my own stuff, which I’m trying my best to do as much as possible. Still trying to stay on top of things. So, at this point, it’s all about discipline, right now.”
