Kemba Walker out against Timberwolves

Although Kemba Walker played in the Celtics’ last four games before the All-Star break, Boston set a minutes restriction for the guard for the All-Star Game. Because, prior to that four-game stretch, Walker had missed three consecutive games due to left knee soreness.

It’s an issue the Celtics expect to monitor going forward, which is why Walker was the only player Boston “held back on” at Wednesday’s practice. Still, the guard will be sidelined due to left knee soreness again. Walker has been ruled out for Friday’s game against the Timberwolves.
