The Celtics were recently linked to Andre Drummond and the Pistons, who may have to go the rest of 2019-20 without Blake Griffin. But it appears he’s not the only big man Boston has checked in on.

Listen to your team news NOW.

According to Chase Hughes of NBC Sports Washington, Boston is among the teams that have “emerged as suitors” for Washington’s Davis Bertans. The Nuggets, Sixers, Hawks and Lakers have also contacted the Wizards.

Bertans spent the last three seasons with the Spurs before he was moved to Washington as part of a three-team trade. The big man is in the final year of his contract, and although teams are asking about the 6-foot-10 power forward, Washington’s general manager has expressed he plans to re-sign the big man.

After shooting 42.9% from long-range last season, Bertans continues to be a threat from deep. He’s shooting 43.4% from 3-point range this year and is averaging 15.4 points per game while playing 30 minutes a night.

Oddly enough, this report surfaced the same day the Celtics are visiting the Wizards.
