When and where to watch all 6 Celtics in the FIBA World Cup

Team USA is littered with Celtics — Kemba Walker, Marcus Smart, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown — but there are a couple others participating in the 2019 FIBA World Cup.

Daniel Theis is playing for Germany with the Thunder’s Dennis Schroder. Newly acquired Vincent Poirier is featured on France’s roster, along with Utah’s Rudy Gobert.

In fact, Poirier and Theis faceoff on Sunday at 8:30 a.m. (EST), the same time as Team USA and the Czech Republic. France and Germany are in Group G. Team USA is in Group E.

All games will be broadcast on ESPN+.

Here are the other games that feature Celtics players (all times are EST):

  • Tuesday, September 3 at 4:30 a.m. Germany v. Dominican Republic
  • Tuesday, September 3 at 8:30 a.m. USA v. Turkey
  • Tuesday, September 3 at 8:30 a.m. France v. Jordan
  • Thursday, September 5 at 4:30 a.m. Germany v. Jordan
  • Thursday, September 5 at 8:30 a.m. USA v. Japan
  • Thursday, September 5 at 8:30 a.m. France v. Dominican Republic

The second round starts on September 6 and concludes three days later.

The quarterfinals take place on September 10 and 11.

The semifinals are on September 13. 

The FIBA World Cup final is on September 15.
