Red Sox lineup: Shane Victorino, Grady Sizemore sit against Twins RHP Phil Hughes

The Red Sox lineup will have a different look for the series finale in Minnesota, with Shane Victorino, Grady Sizemore and A.J. Pierzynski all getting the day off against Twins right-hander Phil Hughes. Jonny Gomes will get a start in right field while Mike Carp gets the start in left, and David Ross will be behind the plate for Clay Buchholz. Carp is 5-for-10 with a homer, a double and three walks against Hughes, while Sizemore is 0-for-6 against the right-hander. Ross is 2-for-3 with a homer against the former Yankee. David Ortiz, who has nine career homers in 13 games at Target Field, has clubbed Hughes at a .409/.481/.818 clip with two homers in 27 plate appearances.
