Red Sox World Series Game 3 Lineup: Daniel Nava in, Stephen Drew back

October 26, 2013 - 12:09 pm

ST. LOUIS -- The Red Sox lineup for Game 3 of the World Series features no changes beyond the ones that manager John Farrell had already announced, with David Ortiz at first base, Daniel Nava in left field, and both Mike Napoli and Jonny Gomes on the bench as potential late-innings impact contributors. Both catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia, batting seventh, and shortstop Stephen Drew, batting eighth, remain in the lineup against hard-throwing Cardinals starter Joe Kelly. Drew is 1-for-3 against Kelly with a triple; he's one of just two Red Sox who have seen the Cardinals starter.
