Brad Stevens weighs in on George Floyd tragedy with first Twitter posts in 3 years

The last time Brad Stevens posted on Twitter it was March 18, 2017, supporting his former team Butler University during the NCAA Tournament.

Monday the Celtics head coach returned to social media, using the platform for a pair of items involving the George Floyd tragedy.

The first was Stevens surfacing the statement on Floyd's death from the National Basketball Coaches Association:

One minute later Stevens linked to former President Barack Obama's tweet from a few moments earlier. President Obama had penned an article on Medium entitled "How to Make This Moment The Turning Point For Real Change," accompanying the piece with his own tweet which the Celtics coach retweeted with comment:
