The Celtics continue to make moves, albeit a relatively small one this time around.

According to Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports, the Celtics have waived forward Abdel Nader. Nader was set for his $1.4 million contract for the 2018-19 season to be guaranteed on Aug. 1.

A second-round pick of the Celtics in 2016, Nader played for a year with the Maine Red Claws before inking his rookie deal with the C's last season. The 24-year-old played in 48 games, averaging three points and 10.9 minutes per game.

The Celtics' roster is currently at 14 players, one below the maximum.
