There was the Howard Stern interview. Then came a seemingly slightly looser approach on social media. And now Tom Brady is smacking down media reports.

Christian Fauria doesn't think it's all a coincidence.

After Brady's latest Instagram post -- in which he refuted Gary Myers' report that offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels was a chief reason the quarterback decided to leave New England -- Fauria joined co-hosts Glenn Ordway and Lou Merloni on OMF to discuss the difference they have seen and likely will see when it comes to the former Patriots QB.

"I feel like Brady is kind of changing in front of our eyes. He’s blossoming," said Fauria during Tuesday's show.

"I think this is what Tom is going through. Maybe I’m reading into it but I feel like this whole newfound Tom Brady, this whole newfound way of attacking stupid, fake news — which I personally don’t think he was really active doing when he was here. It’s just interesting how I think he’s changing before our very eyes."

The idea that Brady's approach toward his public persona might be different than when he was with the Patriots really took root when he agreed to be interviewed by Stern. After that the new Buccaneer hasn't been hard to find, chronicling his offseason in a fashion on an almost daily basis.

'There is the New England Brady and then there is going to be the Tampa Brady. There are going to be two different Bradys that you’re going to get to compare and contrast," Fauria said. "Just like there was Joe Montana in Kansas City and Joe Montana in San Francisco.

"I think I’m going to like Tampa Bay Tom more than I’m going to like New England Tom as far as what he gives the rest of us, what he allows us to digest. His constant information."
