The Patriots' game against the Jets Nov. 25 could potentially be a bit more interesting than originally anticipated. That's what happens when you entertain the idea of throwing the best running back in the NFL into the mix.

According to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News the Jets have reached out the Steelers regarding a potential trade for running back Le'Veon Bell, who will have sat out the season's first three games after the Steelers' game Monday night.

Bell is unhappy Pittsburgh slapped him with the $14.5 million franchise tag, looking for a multi-year deal worth at least $15 million per season. He is costing himself $855,000 for every game he misses. The NFL trade deadline is Oct. 30.

The Jets' running game currently consists of Bilal Powell and Isaiah Crowell, with the combination averaging 3.6 yards per carry in their team's loss to the Browns last Thursday.

Along with the November showdown at MetLife Stadium, the Patriots also host the Jets in the final regular season game of the season Dec. 30.
