OAKLAND -- Justin Masterson's time in the Red Sox rotation may be coming to an end. The Red Sox starter suffered through another subpar outing, this time allowing six runs on six hits in just 2 1/3 innings against the A's Tuesday night. He would be replaced by Steven Wright, who also gave up a pair of hits before finishing off the third inning with the Red Sox in a 7-0 hole. The outing pushed Masterson's ERA to 6.37, having given up 10 runs on 13 hits with seven walks over 6 2/3 innings in his last two starts. It marked the seventh time a Red Sox starter has gone fewer than five innings. For the box score, click here.
