The loss was one thing, the comments from Marcus Morris after were another.

Morris' declaration following the Celtics' defeat at the hands of the Clippers Saturday night helped punctuate what appears to be a dysfunctional C's roster. (To read all of the forward's quotes after his team blew a 28-point lead, click here.)

So when the Celtics got together for practice at the Auerbach Center Monday afternoon it was only natural both Morris and his teammates were going to be asked to expand on the idea that Boston was far from a cohesive bunch.

Speaking to reporters, Morris chalked up the speech to simply wanting to live up to the Celtics lofty expectations.

Brad Stevens downplayed the impact and importance of Morris' words.

In other news, Kyrie Irving (knee) and Aron Baynes (foot) will not be traveling with the Celtics to Philadelphia for their game against the Sixers Tuesday night.
