Brad Brach was one of a few relievers available heading into Tuesday's non-waiver trade deadline. That, of course, meant he was most likely on the Red Sox' radar.

Brach was dealt by the Orioles to the Braves Sunday in exchange for $250,000 international bonus pool money.

The righty was serving as the O's closer for much of the season, going 11-for-13 in save opportunities while totaling a 4.85 ERA and .303 batting average against. While his strength had always been getting right-handed hitters out, righties managed a .272 batting average vs. Brach in 2018. (Last season right-handed batters managed just a .205 clip.)

He has particularly struggled in July, giving up 10 runs in 6 2/3 innings.

Brach is eligible for free agency at the end of this season, playing on a $5.165 million deal in '18.
