Nothing says Thanksgiving like ...

I had this whole story written about having to pull a rubber sticky hand toy out of my dog's back-side Thanksgiving morning (he ate it), but thought it wasn't really setting the right tone for the holiday season. Instead, let's focus on the day we get all those time-lapse photos of the Garden crew changing a rink into a basketball court. Oh, it is also the time you should be reading Curt Schilling's second installment ... Speaking of the Bruins, I missed this -- Bep Guidolin suiting up in an NHL game at the age of 16. Best part: I could go with Bep once bragging about his skating, or referencing a guy named 'Bingo' but I particularly like about this recollection of Guidolin's life is that he skated on the 'Sprout Line'. Huh? It's bad enough you are playing when you're 16, but then you have to skate on the least masculine-sounding line in the history of hockey. The Oshawa Generals have retired Bobby Orr's number. Evidently news of Orr's deftness with the puck took about 30 years to reach Oshawa. Best part: No. 2? (Courtesy Ball Hype) I really don't think I will be putting this Web site in my rotation, but it did present an interesting topic: What are the sexiest sports for women? Best part: Netball? Who knew? This site, however, is gaining some momentum, which only grew more steam with this 'Greatest Mustaches in the NBA' post. Best part: I think finding Larry Bird's facial hair is ripe for a topic on the next 'CSI: Indiana' First Japan, now the Bahamas. The Red Sox are leading the way. Best part: The fact that the only the Red Sox will have a scout (Mike Lord) speak at the Freedom Farm Baseball Complex. I love Bahamas baseball. You never know what you're going to find when looking for Tom Brady updates. First comes the fact Gisele was giving out turkeys in Roxbury, and with it arrives news that there is a Web site devoted to documenting what good deeds celebrities are doing. Best part: Anytime you can link Josh Beckett and Annie Lennox ... good times! First Tazawa, now ...
