The Patriots departed for Houston without three players on their 53-man roster.

Listen to your team news NOW.

On top of Ryan Izzo being ruled out Friday, Jason McCourty and Bryon Cowart were downgraded to out Saturday, indicating they did not make the trip. McCourty also missed last week's game with a groin injury, while Cowart suffered a head injury late in the week.

J.C. Jackson figures to start in McCourty's place.

This also means wide receivers Mohamed Sanu and Phillip Dorsett made the trip after being out last week.

The Patriots now have 15 players questionable for the game and will have to make four more players inactive.
