FOXBORO -- While the Patriots are on their playoff bye week, it doesn't mean they have the entire week off.

Three players were missing from Wednesday's practice session, including tight end Dwayne Allen, safety Devin McCourty and fullback James Develin.

Develin posted to Instagram is wife was expecting their third child, while McCourty suffered a head injury in the win over the Jets. Allen played in the game, but he didn't appear to leave with an injury. There will be no injury report since it is the bye week.

The Patriots will host their divisional round game Sunday, Jan. 13 at 1:05 p.m.
