What will happen to Antonio Brown following a lawsuit accusing him of sexual assault and rape?

Listen to your team news NOW.

It appears more will be known on Wednesday.

According to the Washington Post, NFL leaders will meet on Wednesday to discuss how to proceed.

One consideration is to place Brown on paid leave via the commissioner’s exempt list. If this happens he cannot practice or play in games, but can be at the Gillette Stadium facility.

In a statement released Thursday night, the Patriots said the NFL will be investigating the matter.

The league could also allow Brown to play while its investigation is on-going, and then place him on paid leave at some point if officials believe that is warranted.

The Patriots officially signed Brown Monday after he was released by the Raiders over the weekend.
