One of the biggest plays in Sunday's 28-22 loss to the Texans was Bradley Roby's interception of Tom Brady in the first quarter.

Listen to your team news NOW.

Roby undercut N'Keal Harry's slant and picked off the pass. Houston scored a few plays later to take a 7-3 lead and never really looked back. According to Pro Football Focus, Harry played just 10 snaps after the play and was not targeted.

Appearing on Ordway, Merloni & Fauria Monday, Bill Belichick said that had nothing to do with that particular play, and it was rather about what was working and what wasn't working.

“That definitely wasn’t it," he said. "As the game unfolded you try and do the things that are working for you, the things that are most successful, and try and build on those. That is what we try to do, that is what we usually do do, I would say. Look, there were plenty of mistakes in that game to go around. Everyone (made them). It is not any one player. Even though you may try to pinpoint somebody, that’s definitely not the case. We all have to do a better job — players, coaches.”

A follow-up was asked of how Harry is progressing when it comes to learning the offense.

“This week we had all five receivers active, which we didn’t have last week," Belichick said. "That changed things for us a little bit offensively. It gave us more options and they definitely all played. The way things broke out last week was a little different than the week before against Dallas when we only had three receivers active.”

Harry isn't the only rookie being asked to contribute in the passing game, as the same goes for Jakobi Meyers. While Meyers made a few good plays, he also had a few miscommunications with Brady.

"We’ll just keep working at it," Belichick said. "I think everybody can do a better job. We’ll all pitch in and try and be more productive and more efficient.”

The Patriots will return to the field Sunday at Gillette Stadium when they host the Chiefs.
