(Charles LeClaire/USA Today Sports)[/caption] Sunday started with FOX Sports' Jay Glazer reporting the Giants alerted the NFL of the Steelers using under-inflated footballs during their game last Sunday, but the NFL was quick to squash the report by releasing a statement. "The officiating game ball procedures were followed and there were no chain of command issues," the statement read. "All footballs were in compliance and no formal complaint was filed by the Giants with our office." After the Steelers' win over the Bills, Ben Roethlisberger and Mike Tomlin were asked about the report. "We used nerf balls," Roethlisberger told reporters. Tomlin downplayed everything and didn't offer much more. "I heard about it but we have absolutely no response," Tomlin told reporters."We'll cooperate fully with whatever New York wants to do in regards to that. We have absolutely nothing to hide. It's a non-story for us." For more Patriots news, visit weei.com/patriots.
