The Patriots have a number of newcomers at the tight end position, but it's not quite known what their roles will be.

There may be a clue with Ben Watson, as his contract suggests the team views him as a No. 1 tight end.

Watson is getting the most money out of any of the tight ends the Patriots signed this offseason, which is indicates they plan on him having a signifcant role. The other players' deals leave the door open for them to potentially be cut over the summer.

Here are the details of the contract, per ESPN's Mike Reiss.

Besides Watson, the Patriots have Austin Seferian-Jenkins, Stephen Anderson, Matt LaCosse, Ryan Izzo and Andrew Beck at tight end.
