FOXBOROUGH -- Antonio Brown is back in the news after the wide receiver apologized via social media to Robert Kraft and the Patriots organization for what happened earlier this year.

Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio even said there's optimism he could play again this season on Wednesday's The Greg Hill Show.

While all that has taken place, Bill Belichick didn't offer up much when asked about Brown on Wednesday.

"You'll have to talk to Robert about that," he said. "I mean every week you guys ask me about players not on the team and every week it's going to be the same answer."

The Patriots released Brown after one game following him sending alleged threatening text messages to a woman who accused him of sexual misconduct in a Sports Illustrated story.

New England is still paying the wide out close to $9 million.
