It's been almost three months since Josh Gordon joined the Patriots and the wide receiver continues to exceed expectations.

When the Patriots traded for him after Week 2, there was some question if he would ever play a game for the team, but now he's emerged as arguably the Patriots' No. 2 receiver behind Julian Edelman.

Bill Belichick had some positive things to say about him during his appearance Monday on Ordway, Merloni & Fauria.

“Well, Josh has done a good job for us since he’s been here," he said. "He’s worked hard to learn the offense, a lot of new things that he’s had to adjust to. He’s been consistent and dependable on the field and off the field. We’ll just have to see how it goes. Keep doing it. He’s done a good job for us. He’s certainly helped us move the ball and help us win some games. If he continues to do that, great.”

Gordon's best game may have come Sunday against the Vikings, not because of his three catches on three targets for 58 yards and a touchdown, but it seemed like he was able to run different routes, including option routes. His 24-yard touchdown catch was an example of him picking up on things as he was able to see the defense was playing zone and found the soft spot.

In nine games with the Patriots, Gordon has 34 catches for 605 yards and three touchdowns.
