The Patriots played their worst game of the season before the bye week, falling to the Ravens 37-20.

Listen to your team news NOW.

Despite the loss, the Patriots still have a two-game lead in the AFC East and are in line for the No. 1 seed in the AFC. With their bye week and coming off a loss, WFAN and CBS Sports' Boomer Esiason believes the Patriots will bounce back in a big way Sunday in Philadelphia.

“I will say (Tom Brady's) performance hasn't been missing a beat," Esiason said Monday on The Greg Hill Show. "He had a tough game down in Baltimore, but I think the entire team did. It was a bit of a wakeup call probably for them. I also think when Coach Belichick has a loss to coach from, the team usually responds to that. Because they are playing Philadelphia this weekend, I think it is going to be a huge bounceback game for them.”

As of the rest of the AFC, Esiason has been impressed with the Steelers, who beat the Rams on Sunday.

“The Steelers. And the reason I say that is because their defense has been smothering opposing teams, just like we’ll see from San Francisco (Monday)," he said. "Their defense since they traded for Minkah Fitzpatrick has been a lot better and you could see the struggle the Rams had yesterday. That was an eye-opening game for Jared Goff and Sean McVay. You wonder if the Rams are going to make the playoffs now. That was a game the Rams needed to win, even though it was against an AFC opponent.

"Pittsburgh, their defense is great. I still think they are not great on offense, only because Mason Rudolph is limited, it’s not Ben Roethlisberger. But, for whatever reason, without, Le’Veon Bell, without Antonio Brown and without Ben Roethlisberger, this team has really come together, especially defensively."

The Patriots will take on the Eagles Sunday at 4:25 p.m.
