For the second straight season, the Red Sox have seen their manager get ejected in a postseason game.

Last year it was John Farrell in Game 4 of the ALDS, and this year it's Alex Cora in Game 1 of the ALCS.

Following the fifth inning, Cora was ejected by home plate umpire James Hoye for arguing balls and strikes. Andrew Benintendi struck out looking to end the inning with runners on second and third when the Red Sox had scored two runs to tie the game at two against Justin Verlander.

Benintendi threw his his bat in frustration before Cora yelled from the dugout as Benintendi made his way to left field.

Bench coach Ron Roenicke will manage the remainder of the game.

Here's video of Cora getting tossed.
