It appears Patriots de facto defensive coordinator Brian Flores will be moving on to take the Dolphins' head-coaching job, which means the Patriots will need to find a replacement.

There's no logical person on staff like last year when Flores took over for Matt Patricia, so the name mentioned most has been former Ohio State defensive coordinator Greg Schiano. Appearing on NFL Network Sunday morning, Ian Rapoport floated his name as well. It's logical as he left Ohio State last week to pursue NFL opportunities.

Schiano, who coached a number of Patriots and Bill Belichick's son at Rutgers, has worked with Belichick before as an assistant at the NFL combine when he was in between jobs (Tampa Bay and Ohio State).

Other names to potentially consider are: Belichick himself, Brendan Daly, Josh Boyer and Bret Bielema.
