Broncos reportedly open to trading WR Emmanuel Sanders, Patriots involved

The next week will be full of wide receiver trade rumors, and the Patriots will likely be involved in many of them.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Broncos are open to trading Emmanuel Sanders and will listen to offers. The report adds teams expected to be in the market for receivers include the Panthers, Patriots, Eagles, 49ers and others.

In addition, WEEI's Christian Fauria confirms the Patriots are indeed interested in Sanders.

Denver traded Demaryius Thomas to Houston last year at the trade deadline and received a fourth-round pick in return. The ESPN report adds the Broncos are seeking a higher form of compensation for Sanders.

Sanders, 32, has 30 catches for 367 yards and two touchdowns in seven games this season.

The trade deadline is a week from Tuesday.
