FOXBORO -- The Patriots are getting more bodies back at wide receiver.

Listen to your team news NOW.

After Julian Edelman came off NFI Monday, Demaryius Thomas was on the practice field Tuesday wearing shoulder pads, which could be an indication he's off PUP. The practice was held in shorts and shells. This impacts the wide receiver depth chart, as now it would have Edelman, Thomas, Phillip Dorsett, N'Keal Harry and Jakobi Meyers at the top.

[UPDATE: 4:30 p.m.]: Thomas officially is off PUP.

There were a few players missing, including Patrick Chung, Derek Rivers, Shilique Calhoun, Trent Harris and Michael Bennett.

Josh Gordon was present like he was Monday, but not wearing pads. This indicates he's still on NFI.

The Patriots will host the Panthers Thursday night in the third preseason game.
