DL Jabaal Sheard, OL Marcus Cannon among 4 players missing at Patriots practice

[caption id="attachment_94929" align="alignright" width="150"]Jabaal Sheard Jabaal Sheard[/caption] FOXBORO -- There was a lot happening at Wednesday's Patriots practice. Offensive linemen Marcus Cannon and Shaq Mason, defensive lineman Jabaal Sheard and linebacker Rufus Johnson were not present at the media availibility portion of Patriots practice. Cannon (toe) and Sheard (ankle) left Sunday's game against the Colts and didn't return. Mason and Johnson both finished Sunday's game with no injuries announced by the team. Matthew Slater injured his leg in the game and seemed to be in a lot of pain afterwards, but the special teams captain was present at practice. Dont'a Hightower (ribs) and Ryan Wendell, who were both inactive Sunday, were also present at practice. Also, at practice was fullback Joey Iosefa, as he has been added to the practice squad.
