Following the 2017 season, Robert Kraft, Bill Belichick and Tom Brady had a meeting to discuss everything that had taken place during the year and to come up with a plan moving forward.

Not much about that meeting has been reported, but appearing on Kirk & Callahan with Mike Mutnansky and Alex Reimer filling in on Thursday, ESPN's Adam Schefter gave a little insight into what took place.

“Kraft, Belichick, Brady just sat down to see how they could move forward in the future and do things the best way,” Schefter said.

“Everybody sat down after the year and they talked for hours," Schefter continued. "They tried to figure out what works. They talked about Tom’s number of throws being reduced, maybe that was part of the conversation. Maybe Alex Guerrero was part of the conversation.”

As for what the end result was, Schefter didn't offer any specifics.

“When you have a conversation that lasts that long, I am sure there are a lot of different things," he said. "I think basically you are just trying to make sure everybody is on the same page and the lines of communication are open, and that everyone is as happy as they can possibly be moving forward.”

Over the course of the offseason some speculated the meeting didn't actually happen, but it appears it definitely did.
