The Patriots' defensive line will likely look a lot different in 2019.

After losing Malcom Brown to the Saints and Trey Flowers to the Lions, the team could lose another member of the unit.

According to ESPN's Field Yates, Danny Shelton visited with the Bengals Friday. Shelton was acquired via trade last offseason from the Browns, but the Patriots did not pick up his fifth-year option.

Shelton was a healthy scratch in three games this past season, and finished with 21 total tackles.

The Patriots signed defensive tackle Mike Pennel Thursday, and will likely address the position via the draft.
