Tennessee is the fifth team running back Dion Lewis has played for, but in his first few months it seems like he's enjoying his new home.

“I think I fit pretty well in it," Lewis told reporters. "You know, I’ve been in a lot of different schemes in my career so I’m going to try and adjust to whatever the coaches ask me to do.”

“I’m just going to come in and work hard like I always do and try to carve myself out a role," he added. "Whatever the coaches ask of me, that’s what I’ll do.”

Lewis is coming off his best season last year when he played in all 16 games and ran for 896 yards and six touchdowns on 180 carries. He also caught 32 passes out of the backfield.

With the Titans, Lewis will share the backfield with Derrick Henry. The Pitt product is looking forward to the internal competition.

“There’s always competition, no matter what sport you play or what your spot on the roster is," he said. "You always have to compete. [Henry and I] have been working great together, we compete in agility drills and in practice, stuff like that. We also help each other—we’re both learning a new system at the same time. So we try to help each other and go together.”

Lewis will face his former team in the Patriots Nov. 11 in Nashville.
