The Patriots could potentially have a five-time Pro Bowler joining the team for the postseason.

According to ESPN's Field Yates, the Patriots are hosting free agent outside linebacker James Harrison for a visit Tuesday. He was released by the Steelers on Saturday and cleared waivers Monday, thus now a free agent. There's a thought he could return to the Steelers, but the visit signifies he's weighing his options.

Harrison reportedly was unhappy with his lack of playing time this season in Pittsburgh, playing in just five games and totaling one sack.

It would be a low-risk deal for the Patriots, as he would get paid a prorated veteran minimum and he would be seen as an upgrade over Eric Lee and Marquis Flowers.

Harrison is 39 years old and has spent all but one of his 15 seasons in the league with the Steelers. In 2013 he played with the Bengals.
