Although it's not a huge move, the Red Sox have brought back one of their relievers for 2019.

The team announced Friday it has agreed to terms with right-handed pitcher Heath Hembree on a one-year contract for the 2019 season. Multiple reports say the deal is worth $1,312,500 million.

Hembree has made more than 60 appearances and thrown at least 60 innings for the Red Sox in each of the last two seasons. This past year, the right-hander held opponents to a .233 batting average, a career-best for a full season. He also held left-handed hitters to a career-low .186 average, surrendering only one home run to his 105 lefties faced in the regular season.

The 29-year-old figures to fit into the middle innings mix.

The Red Sox still seem to be in the market for a closer as they wait out Craig Kimbrel.
