FOXBORO -- Last week, Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey made headlines when he criticized Rob Gronkowski in an ESPN feature story.

"I don't think Gronk's good," he said. "Let me say -- I don't think Gronk is as great as people think he is."

Ramsey added: "Any time Gronk has been matched up with a corner, he's had a very bad game -- and that corner has had a very good game."

On Tuesday, Gronkowski was given the opportunity to respond, but he didn't take the bait.

“I mean, we got the Houston Texans this week and that will just be another time and place to talk about, but as of right now I am just really focused on the Texans and worrying about their players and their defense," he said. "That’s all.”

But, he did leave the door open to responding to them down the road, especially with the Patriots taking on Ramsey's Jaguars next week.

“Possibly. I mean it’s going to get asked next week, too," he said.

New England will travel to Jacksonville a week from Sunday for a rematch of the AFC title game.
