After 16 seasons, James Harrison is calling it a career.

The outside linebacker posted a bunch of pictures to Instagram Monday morning of his kids with the caption: I've missed way too much for way too long...and I'm done.
Many thanks to my family, coaches, the fans, and everyone who played a role in my football life. #2ndAndFinalRetirement #HarrisonFamilyValues #BlessedAndHighlyFavored #GodsPlan ----

The 39-year-old was released by the Steelers late last season and then was signed by the Patriots. Harrison indicated during the playoffs he thought he had another year in him, but it appears he's changed his mind.

Harrison came into the league as an undrafted free agent in 2002.
