FOXBORO -- The Jets have learned from their mistakes in the past.

Over the years the Jets have been known to trash-talk the Patriots leading into their matchups and it has come back to hurt them, but that won't be the case this week.

"This is my first time playing the Patriots -- ever -- so I'm very excited," outside linebacker Brandon Copeland told reporters. "It's crazy to think about, so I'm very excited to try to introduce myself the right way."

What will he do?

"I'll show you Sunday," Copeland said. "I'm not going to give them locker room material, that's for sure."

A number of Jets players have yet to beat Tom Brady and the Patriots.

"It would be a nice accomplishment to get a win against Brady," linebacker Jordan Jenkins said. "I just want to get a win, period, but it would be pretty nice to get a win against him."

Avery Williamson added: "Man, I'm not taking him lightly. "I don't care if he didn't throw any touchdowns for a month. Man, Brady, he can still make it happen."

Of the last five meetings in Jersey, all have been one-score games.
