It seemed ever since Rex Ryan left town, the Jets had moved away from providing the Patriots with bulletin board material, but that may have changed over the weekend.

On CBS Radio Friday, wide receiver Quincy Enunwa said the Patriots are “vulnerable” to not winning the AFC East this year and the Jets are “capable” of doing it. He then went on Sirius XM radio Saturday saying he was just answering a question posed to him.

“Obviously, I just wanted to agree,” Enunwa said. “I think they may be. But I also think that we’re capable of finally dethroning them. I think that we’ve always been. It’s just about getting over that hump of finishing games. Not to add more bulletin board material for them, but I think for us, we’re hyper-confident and believe that we can do that.”

Enunwa said the Jets' offseason program is going better than years past, especially when it comes to getting closer as a team.

“We’re doing a lot of different things to help us learn about each other,” Enunwa said. “We’re learning about the man to our left and right and building confidence he’s going to do what we need to do on Sunday.”

We'll see how it goes, but typically when opposing players make comments like this it doesn't end well.
