The Patriots seem to be in the market for a quarterback, one to potentially replace Tom Brady.

Speaking to TMZ over the weekend, Johnny Manziel said he wouldn't mind being that guy.

“I’ll go to New England in a heartbeat," he said.

Manziel said there'd be no pressure succeeding the best quarterback to ever play the game.

“Never, you learn from the GOAT," he said.

This comes after the NFL Network's Nate Burleson explained why Manziel going to New England actually would make sense. The 25-year-old is attempting a comeback, even saying he'd be open to being on a practice squad to prove himself.

Manziel attended the AFC championship game two years ago against the Steelers in a Patriots jersey.

While Manziel is saying all this, so are a number of other quarterbacks. Don't expect it to happen.
