FOXBORO -- On Monday, it was reported Patriots wide receiver Josh Gordon would be disciplined in the game against the Bills for tardiness the week before.

Of course, that didn't happen, and Bill Belichick denied the report several times afterwards.

When speaking Friday, Gordon was asked if he had any comment.

“I do not have any [comment] on that, but I heard about it," he said.

Gordon was also asked since joining the team if he feels he has done a good job in terms of being on time and being where he needs to be?

“If I haven’t, I have been helped along the way," he said. "I am definitely thankful for all the help I have gotten here and I am definitely appreciative as I figure my way out here.”

In five games with the Patriots, Gordon has 17 receptions for 266 yards and a touchdown.

“Great. Great," he said when asked how things are going. "I am getting all the opportunity I could want, patience from the treatment stuff, coaching staff, teammates. Everybody is helping me along the way. It’s been a great opportunity and experience and I hope to keep that going the rest of the season.”

Given what he's gone through in the past, it seems the Patriots have done everything they can do for him.

“For a guy like me in my position, transitioning could be a difficult thing for you and they have made it real easy for me," he said.
