It appears leaving the Colts in the dark really is not going to impact Josh McDaniels at all when it comes to potentially getting a head-coaching job.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, McDaniels is expected to interview with the Packers on Friday. They aren't the only team interested, as the Bengals also reportedly put in a request to interview him, but it is unclear if he will accept.

Last year after accepting the Colts' head-coaching job, McDaniels backed out after the Super Bowl and a day before he was going to be introduced publicly.

The Packers opening is one of the best in the league with Aaron Rodgers at quarterback, but there are some questions when it comes to involvement of ownership. It's been known McDaniels would like to have a structure similar to New England where ownership mostly stays away from the football moves.

All interviews for Patriots coordinators will be conducted this week as the team is on its bye. The Patriots will host their divisional round game on Sunday, January 13 at 1:05 p.m.
