Could the Patriots swing a trade for Tom Brady's potential successor?

It's very possible possible.

According to Fox Sports' Joel Klatt, the Patriots are among three teams "very interested" in trading for Josh Rosen.

"There are three teams that I have heard and I know are very interested in Josh Rosen: New England, the New York Giants, and the LA Chargers," Klatt said on UNDISPUTED Wednesday. "One of those have already offered a second-round pick. ... Arizona is waiting for a first — I don't think they'll get it."

The Patriots have six selections the the top 101 overall, so they certainly have what it takes to acquire him.

New England did like his talent and ability last year when he was entering the NFL draft, so it could happen.

Rosen is under contract for the next three seasons with base salaries under $1 million for all three, so it is a very team-friendly deal.
