The thousands of New England fans who made the trip to Nashville left disappointed as the Patriots were blown out by the Titans, 34-10 in their worst performance of the season.

Speaking in the locker room after the game, Julian Edelman apologized for the performance.

“I am sorry we disappointed some of the fans that were out here for us," he said to reporters. "We were heavily populated here. We have to go back to New England and get back to work."

Edelman finished the game with a team-high nine catches on 12 targets for 104 yards. He also left the game in the fourth quarter with an ankle injury. The wide out said he will see how he feels on Monday.

He also ended the interview apologizing for being in a bad mood.

“Not in a good mood, guys. I am sorry," he said. "Sorry for being an A-hole, but we got out played. Thank you.”

The loss snapped a six-game win streak and now the Patriots will go into their bye with a bad taste in their mouth.
