Patriots receiver Julian Edelman joined Ordway, Merloni & Fauria on Monday to promote his new book "Relentless" with Tom E. Curran and also to discuss how the rehab is going with his injured knee.

“I come in and do my rehab, then I go up to TB12’s Center and I do more rehab and then I come back here and do a little more rehab," Edelman said. "I go home and these past few weeks have been pretty busy. I had the whole pop-up shop this past weekend. We did a book tour during the bye week. Mostly, all my time and energy are into getting this knee right and getting this knee back.”

Edelman said he's a big fan of Alex Guererro and all the things that he does, but knows there are going to be certain people who disagree with what he does.

“There’s always going to be those types of things," he said. "If it helps you, then it helps you and Tom [Brady] is a living proof of how that has helped his career. I am a huge advocate of it. I feel like it helps me with a lot of my stuff and I like consulting with Alex and those guys over there because I’ve seen through a lot of the rehabs that they have done and that it’s been unbelievable.”

As for the ESPN The Magazine story which claimed there is a "collision coming" between Bill Belichick and Guerrero, Edelman said he hasn't seen anything to suggest that.

“No, I haven’t seen none of that," he said "Like I told you, my focus is trying to get my body right. I haven’t seen none of that. There’s a lot — you don’t even know when guys are getting traded here. A lot of times you don’t know a lot with what is going on. Honestly, you don’t care because that has nothing to do with me. What has to do with me is just going out and doing everything I can to get the knee right.”

Edelman is currently 31 years old, so he knows there will be doubters when it comes to him coming back from a torn ACL after the age of 30.

“Guy in the older age area or whatever trying to come back from a major injury, there are going to be haters out there and I welcome that," he said. "I am just going to worry about what I have to do and have that relentless mindset and do what I have to do to get where I am at."
